This commissioned project of limited edition of anthologies was created for a handful of special donors to the new Arts and Sciences building at the University of Pennsylvania. The writings of faculty and students were digitally printed on Johannot paper, handbound and presented in a custom portfolio, with a dedication page hand illuminated by Mel Abhorn.

This letterpress printed catalog (designed in-house) containing all artist books made at Pointed Press was created for Codex International Book Fair in Berkeley, California, 2011. This piece will be featured in the upcoming Print Magazine annual design winners for 2011.

This commissioned one-of-a-kind book for celebrity, Heidi Klum was a collaboration with Lorel Marketing Group, working with hand-done illustrations and calligraphy, under a short deadline. The hand-made portfolio case was made with custom book cloth created in our studio using the fabric designed by the celebrity.

We will be attending the Codex Syposium this year in lovely CA at the Berkeley Art Museum. Come and see our table at the exhibitor’s fair. The new book, wallpaper will be on display for the first time.

On November 16, 2010, Katie, Matt and I printed with David Carson at The Common Press (the letterpress shop at UPenn.) It was a fun day of playing with color, make-ready and overprinting. David may use one of the some 100 prints we made for his upcoming book.
