Pointed Press, a Custom Letterpress Studio in Philadelphia

Redesign of the sandwich + catering menus, stamps and large menu signs for local market + cafe.

Custom made over-sized edition of paper enclosures and hard-cover boxes were created at Pointed Press to accompany a set of re-struck prints, printed by Matt Neff at The Common Press, using original blocks of Wharton Esherick. This project was a collaboration between U Penn Special Collections and The Wharton Esherick Museum. The collection includes some rare prints as well as some of Esherick’s most popular images. The set comes with a letterpress title page, curator’s checklist and a colophon.

Covers were letterpress printed for graduation ceremony and awards ceremony. Design was a collaboration with David Comberg.

Map and information is hand-drawn and letterpress printed.

Poster designed and printed collaboratively with O. Roman Haisuk from Space 1026 in Philadelphia for the Philagrafkia fundraiser event. Letterpress printing was completed at Pointed Press Studio and silkscreen printing was completed at Space 1026 in Philadelphia.
